Potluck Sharing Circles

Usually the first Monday of the month (unless a holiday bumps the date) we gather over food to connect. We meet at Highlands Community League Hall (6112 113 Ave NW, Edmonton) at 5:30 pm. We each bring food to share and an open heart.

Typically we have a discussion theme (eg. favourite summer holiday memory, hobbies we enjoy, places locally we’ve been that we love, etc). We chat about and share our experiences with the group. Sometimes we do an activity like painting on canvas or playing board games.

The goal is to connect. What we have learned is we are all the same at heart, but have different lived experiences, face different forms of adversity, and value social connection as a way to enhance and maintain well-being.
